It has never been easier to organise shared rides in an existing carpool on frequently used routes. MyCarpoolApp suggests the driver, selects and shows the passengers and facilitates a fair sharing of costs.

CONCEPT
The app is designed for groups of people who know and trust each other, such as colleagues, fellow students, or parents of children of the neighborhood, who alternate to bring their kids by car to school or kindergarden. To find and to contact strangers to share costs of rides, however, there are other apps.
The carpool uses known, regularly used routes, e.g. to ride together to work, university or school.

USAGE MODES
According to the preferences and requirements of each carpool, there are three usage modes:
1) organization of joint rides, i.e. suggestions and selection of the driver and passengers,
2) in addition to 1), to define a fixed cost of each route, independently of variable costs such as fuel consumption or tolls;
3) in addition to 1), to have a precise calculation of the actual cost, taking into account fuel consumption of cars, highway tolls, discounts, and fixed costs.
